Qualification: 

• Sub- Officer: Higher Secondary (Science) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Govt. recognized Board/Institution.
• Fireman & Emergency Rescuer: Higher Secondary (Science) pass or equivalent examination from recognized Board/Institution.
• Driver, Driver Operator: Class-VIII passed from a recognized Board/ Institution and the applicant must possess valid driving licensefor HMV, (Heavy Motor Vehicles) from any recognized authority.

Age Limit: 

• Sub- Officer - Applicant should be between 20 to 24 years of age as on 01-01-2014.
• Fireman - Applicant should be between 18 to 25 years of age as on 01-01-2014.
• Emergency Rescuer of SDRF Bn - Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years
• Driver - Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 year
• Driver Operator (in the rank of Constable) of SDRF Bn - Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years

Pay Scale:

• Sub-Officer - Pay Scale 5200 – 20200, Grade pay 2400, Pay Band-2
• Fireman - Pay Scale 5200 – 20200, Grade pay 2100, Pay Band-2
• Emergency Rescuer of SDRF Bn - Pay Scale 5200 – 20200, Grade pay 2100, Pay Band-2
• Driver - Pay Scale 5200 – 20200, Grade pay 2100, Pay Band-2
• Driver operator (in the rank of Constable) of SDRF Bn. - Pay Scale 5200 – 20200, Grade pay 2100, Pay Band-2

Selection Procedure: 

• Applicants would be selected through Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and written test for the posts of Sub-Officer, Fireman, Emergency Rescuer Posts.
• Driver and Driver Operator have to face Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test and followed by driving test during selection process.
