Name of the Post: Asst Surgeon
Educational
Qualification: MBBS Degree with PG
Diploma / PG Degree / Super Specialty Degree/DNB in the concerned Specialty
Age Limit:
- SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC&DCs, BCs, BCMs: 58 Years as on 01.07.2015
- For Ast. Surgeon (Specialty): 35 Years of age (As on 01.07.2015)
- Ex-Servicemen belonging to ‘others’: 48 Years as on 01.07.2015
Pay Scale: Rs.15,60-39,10 + Grade Pay Rs. 5,40.

Selection
Process: There will be no writen or oral
examination for these posts. The walk-in selection will be based on the marks
obtained (in percentage up to two decimals) by the candidate in PG Degree /PG Diploma/
Super specialty (as the case may be) in concerned Specialty/Super specialty as
per the communal roster, duly following the rules of reservation of Government
of Tamil Nadu
Application
& Processing Fees: Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven hundred and fifty only) be paid by all
the candidates (excluding SC/SCA/ST candidates). SC/SCA/ST candidates have to
pay Rs.375/- (Rupees Three Hundred and Seventy Five Only).
