Essential Qualifications:

(i)       Master’s Degree in English with 55% marks or equivalent grade o f  ‘ B ’  in the seven point scale.

(ii)      A pass in UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline.

(iii)     Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in English in accordance with University

Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

2.   Department: Tamil

Post: Assistant Professor (Scheduled Castes - Arunthathiyar - 01) Essential Qualifications:

(i)       Master’s Degree in Tamil with 50% marks or equivalent grade o f  ‘ B ’  in the seven point scale.

(ii)      A pass in UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline.

(iii)     Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Tamil in accordance with University

Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

3.   Department: Mathematics

Post: Assistant Professor (General Turn - 01) Essential Qualifications:

(i)       Master’s Degree in Mathematics with 55% marks or equivalent grade o f  ‘ B ’  in the

seven point scale.

(ii)      A pass in UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline.

(iii)     Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics in accordance with

University Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Essential Qualifications:

(i)       Master’s Degree in Computer Science with 55% marks or equivalent grade o f  ‘ B ’  in the seven point scale.

(iii)     Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in accordance with

University Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

5.   Department: BBA

Post: Assistant Professor (General Turn - 01) Essential Qualifications:

(i)         First  Class  Masters  Degree  in  Business  Management  /  Administration  /  in  a  relevant

management related discipline or first class in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / accredited by the AICTE / UGC;

OR

(ii)        First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant/Cost and Works

Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.

Desirable:

1.   Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization

2.   Papers presented at conferences and/or published in refereed journals.

6.   Department: Commerce

Post: Assistant Professor [Backward Classes (Other than Backward Class Muslims) – 01] Essential Qualifications:

(i)       Master’s Degree in Commerce with 55% marks or equivalent grade o f  ‘ B ’  in the seven

point scale.

(ii)      A pass in UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline.

(iii)     Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Commerce in accordance with

University Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

7.   Post: Director of Physical Education  (General Turn – 01] Essential Qualifications:

(i)         A  Master’s  Degree  in  Physical  Education  or  Master’s  Degree  in  Sports  Science  with

at least 55% marks or an equivalent ‘B’  grade in the point scale.

(ii)        Record of having represented the university/college at the inter-university/inter-collegiate competitions or the State and/or national championships.

(iii)       A pass in UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline

(iv)       Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these Regulations.

(v)       Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Physical Education in accordance with

University Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

8.   Post: Librarian (Scheduled Castes - 01) Essential Qualifications:

(i)        A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade of ‘B’  in a point scale and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.

(ii)        A pass in UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline

(iii)      Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science in accordance with University Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
