Qualifications:
Essential for Medical Candidates:
- A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Act.
- A Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery) or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ allied discipline.
Essential for Non-Medical Candidates:
- A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject/allied discipline.
- A Doctorate degree from a recognised University in the respective subject/allied discipline.
Age Limit: Candidates age should not be more than 65 years as
on 15th June 2015
Pay Scale:
Professor: PB-4 +GP 8700/-+NPA
Associate Professor: PB-3+GP 7600/-+NPA
Assistant Professor: PB-3+GP 6600/+NPA
Selection Procedure: Written Exam, Interview
