Qualification:
Principal
(A)
(i) A Master’s Degree
with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever
grading system is followed) from a recognized University in the field of
specialization of Music & Culture.
(ii) A Ph. D Degree in
concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline(s) (in the field of Music & Culture)
in the institutions concerned with evidence of published work and research
guidance. (iii) Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of
fifteen years of teaching/research/ administration (in the field of Music &
Culture) in Universities, Colleges and other Institutions of Higher Education.
(iv) A minimum score as
stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based
Appraisal System (PBAS), as set out in the UGC Regulation, 2010 for direct
recruitment of Professors in Colleges.
Senior
Informatics Officer (B)
(v) Bachelor’s and
Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of Fine Art (Applied Art, Painting and
Sculpture) or equivalent with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor’s or
Master’s Degree from a recognized University.
(vi) Ph.D or equivalent
in appropriate discipline from a recognized University.
Age Limit: Candidates Age should not exceed (For Post 1- 50 Years), (For Post 2 - 40 Years) as on 01.02.2016.
Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules
Pay Scale:
Principal
- Rs. 37400 - 67000/- With 10000/- Grade Pay
Senior
Informatics Officer - Rs. 15600 - 39100/- With 5400/- Grade Pay
Selection Procedure: Screening Test/ Personality Test

(i) Group-A Posts: -
Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 150/- (Rupees
One Hundred and Fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped
Candidates.
(ii) Group-B Posts:-
Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for General Candidates and Rs.
100/-(Rupees one hundred) only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically
Handicapped Candidates.
(iii) Group-C Posts:-
Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs.50/-(Rupees
fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(vi) SC/ST Candidates of
other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for
unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed
for general candidates.
