Qualification: Candidates should have completed MBBS or its equivalent qualification from a recognized
Board/University
Age for the doctors of open market: Candidates should not have completed more than
50 years of age as on 01.01.2016. However, age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST
and 3 years for OBC candidates is admissible.
Age for Retired Government Medical Officers of State
Government/Central Government/IRMS Officers (Railways): Candidates should not
have completed more than 65 years of age as on 01.01.2016.
Pay Scale:
Specialist - Rs. 65,000/-
General Duty Doctors - Rs. 55,000/-
