Qualification:
1).
Senior Scientific Officer - (i) A Doctorate degree of any UGC recognized
University in the field of specialization prescribed for the post concerned
with good academic record (ii) Either Minimum total experience of 3 years in teaching/ design/ construction/
production/ research in the appropriate discipline in a position not less than
that of an Assistant Professor in a College/ University or equivalent grade OR
Five years of experience in teaching and /or research and development
2).
Scientific Officer - (i) A master’s
degree in the field of specialization of any UGC recognized university with
consistently good academic record, preferably First Class at Master’s degree
level. (ii) One year of relevant field experience or research experience or
teaching experience.
3).
Systems Analyst - ((i) MCA/ M.Tech
in Computer Science of any UGC recognized university with consistently good
academic record, preferably First Class at Master’s degree level. (ii) One year
of relevant field experience or research experience or teaching experience.
4).
Steno - Typist - Diploma in Commercial
Practice awarded by the State Board of Technical Education with Typewriting and
Short-hand as Electives at Higher Grade level ; OR Minimum general educational
qualification with Type-writing English Higher Grade plus Shorthand English
Higher Grade ; with Tamil Typewriting Lower Grade.
5).
Assistant - A Bachelor’s Degree from any
Indian University After appointment as Assistant he or she should also pass the
Account Test for subordinate officers – Part I conducted by the Tamilnadu
Public Service Commission before the completion of the period of probation.
Provided that appointment to the post of Assistant shall also be made by
transfer on promotion from the approved probationers of the holders of the
posts of Junior Assistant Steno Typist Typistand who have passed the account
test for subordinate officers Part-I conducted by the Tamilnadu Public Service
Commission. Provided that only the stenotypist & typist who have put in not
less than five years of service in the respective category shall be eligible
for appointment by transfer, as Assistant.
6).
Typist - Minimum general educational
qualification with Typewriting English Higher Grade plus Typewriting Tamil
Lower Grade (or) Typewriting English Lower Grade plus Typewriting Tamil Higher
Grade.
7).
Driver - (i) Studied upto VIII standard
in a recognized school. (ii) Must possess a valid licence for driving a light
transport vehicle issued by the competent authority with an elementary
knowledge of auto mechanism. (iii) Must possess practical experience in driving
for a period of not less than three years.
8).
Office Assistant - (i) Studied upto
VIII Standard in recognized School. (ii)Should be able to ride a bi-cycle in
the case of posts of Office Assistant & Messenger.
Age Limit:

Scientific Officer - Not less than 30
years on the first day of July of the Calendar year in which the selection for
appointment is made
Scientific
Officer - Not less than 24 years on the
first day of July of the Calendar year in which the selection for appointment
is made
Systems
Analyst - Not less than 24 years on the
first day of July of the Calendar year in which the selection for appointment
is made
6).
Typist - Not less than 28 years on the
1st July 2016
7).
Driver - Should not have completed 30
years of age as on 1st July 2016
8).
Office Assistant - Should not have
completed 28 years of age as on 1st July 2016
Pay Scale:
Senior Scientific Officer - Rs.15600 - 39100 + GP 6000/-
Scientific Officer - Rs.15600 - 39100 + GP 6000/-
Systems Analyst - Rs.37400 - 67000 + GP 9000/-
Steno - Typist - Rs.5200-20200 +GP 2800/-
Assistant - Rs.5200-20200 +GP 2800/-
Typist - Rs.5200-20200 +GP 2400/-
Driver - Rs.5200-20200 +GP 2400/-
Office Assistant - Rs. 4800-10000 + GP 1300/-
