Eligibility Conditions
Unmarried Male Indian Citizen from Tamil Nadu
meeting following eligibility criteria are invited to participate in the
requirement Drive
Qualification: Candidates should have Qualified 10+2 Pass Equivalent exam with
Maths and Physics as Compulsory subjects. Optional Subject Chemistry / Biology/
Computers
Age Limit: Candidates Age should be between 17 to 21 Years As On 01.08.1995
to 31.07.1999 (Both Dates inclusive)
Selection Criteria:
Selection of recruits is based on the order of
merit depending on their performance in written Test. Physical Fitness Test
(PFT) and Fitness in the Medical Examination
Written Test:
The Question Paper will be
Objective type and will comprise of four section i.e. English. Science
Mathematics and General Knowledge
Physical Fitness Test:
PFT will consist of 1.6
km run to be completed in 7 Minutes 20 squat ups and 10 push - Ups candidates
undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk Candidates are to bring their
sports shoes and shorts for PFT
Medical Standards and procedure for Medical Examination:
As prescribed in current regulation

Final Enrollment Medical Examination:
All Select list candidates who are
issued with a call letter for final Medical examination will have to undergo
final Enrollment Medical examination at Chile prior to Enrollment Candidates
found Unfit during this Medical Examination will be enrolled for training. No
appeal is permitted for further review after the final enrollment Medical
Examination
Tattoos:
Permanent Body tattoos are only
permitted on inner Face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and
to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand.
Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and
candidates will be barred from requirement
