Qualification: (i) Matriculation or its equivalent; Should be in
possession of First Class Driver Certificate issued under Major Port Harbour
Craft Rules/ I.V. Act, 1917; (OR) (ii)Should be in possession of Certificate of
Competency as Engine Driver of a Motor Vessel having engines of less than 565
BHP issued by the Mercantile Marine Department under Major Port Harbour Crafts
Rules; (iii)Three years service as engine Driver in handling vessels with above
capacity; (iv)Knowledge of Swimming. (v) Should pass the trade test prescribed
and conducted by the Port
Age Limit: Candidates Age should not exceed 30 years as on (01.6.2016). Candidates
Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules
