Qualification:
1.
Scientist ‘C:
Essential
Qualification (Atmospheric Sciences) - Master’s degree from a recognized
university in Physics or Chemistry or Meteorology or Agricultural Meteorology
or Atmospheric Sciences or Geophysics or equivalent with at least 60% marks in
the qualifying degree level or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology
from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree
level
Desirable
- Master’s degree from a recognized university in Engineering or Technology
or Doctorate in the relevant subject or area of specialization. ii) Experience
in policy making, planning or management in the relevant field
Experience
- Three (03) years’ experience in
teaching (at graduate or post graduate level), research and development,
survey, administration, planning, supervision or training, etc., in the relevant
field
2.
Scientist ‘D’:
Essential
Qualification (Ocean Technology) - Master’s degree from a recognized
university in Ocean Technology or Oceanography or Marine Sciences or Ocean
Sciences or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level
or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university
with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
Desirable
- Master’s degree from a recognized university in Engineering or
Technology or Doctorate in the relevant subject or area of specialization. ii)
Experience in policy making, planning or management in the relevant field
Experience
- (07) years’ experience in teaching (at graduate or post graduate level),
research and development, survey, administration, planning, supervision or
training, etc., in the relevant field.
3.
Scientist ‘F:
Essential
Qualification - (Atmospheric Sciences/Meteorology) Master’s degree
from a recognized university in Physics or Chemistry or Geophysics or
Atmospheric Sciences or Meteorology or Agricultural Meteorology or equivalent
with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level or Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering or Technology from a recognized university with at least 60% marks
in the qualifying degree level.
Desirable
- Master’s degree from a recognized university in Engineering or Technology
or Doctorate in the relevant subject or area of specialization. ii) Experience
in policy making, planning or management in the relevant field.
Experience
- Sixteen (16) years’ experience in teaching (at graduate or post graduate
level), research and development, survey, administration, planning, supervision
or training, etc., in the relevant field.
4.
Scientist ‘G’:
Essential
Qualification - Master’s degree from a recognized university in
Physics or Chemistry or Geophysics or Geosciences or Atmospheric Sciences or
Meteorology or Agricultural Meteorology or equivalent with at least 60% marks
in the qualifying degree level or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or
Technology from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in the
qualifying degree level
Desirable
- Master’s degree from a recognized university in Engineering or Technology
or Doctorate in the relevant subject or area of specialization. ii) Experience
in policy making, planning or management in the relevant
Experience
- Twenty one (21) years’ experience in teaching (graduate or post graduate
level), research and development, survey, administration, planning, supervision
or training, etc., in the relevant field
Age Limit: Candidates Age should not exceed (For Post 1 - 40 Years), (For Post 2, 3, 4 - 50 Years). Candidates
Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules
Pay Scale:
1.
Scientist ‘C - Rs.15.600-39,100 + GP 6,600/-
2.
Scientist ‘D’- Rs.15.600-39,100 + GP 7,600/-
3.
Scientist ‘F - Rs.37, 400 -67,000 + GP 8,900/-
4.
Scientist ‘G’- Rs.37, 400 -67,000 + GP 10,000
