Eligibility Criteria for KVS Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification)

1. Principal

i) Master Degree from recognized university with atleast 45% marks in aggregate.

ii) B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.

iii) Persons holding posts of PGTs or Lecturer in Central/State Govt./ Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt.

2. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) English - Post Graduate M.Sc. or Master’s Degree in English

3. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Hindi - Post Graduate M.Sc. or Master’s Degree in Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level

4. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Physics - Post Graduate M.Sc. or Master’s Degree in Physics/Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics

5. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Chemistry - Post Graduate M.Sc. or Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Bio Chemistry

6. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Economics - Post Graduate M.Sc. or Master’s Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/ Business Economics

7. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Commerce - Post Graduate M.Sc. or Master’s Degree in Commerce. However, holder of Degree of M.Com in Applied/ Business Economics shall not be eligible.

10. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) History - Post Graduate M.Sc. or Master’s Degree in History

12. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Computer Science - 1. At least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following: B.E or B.Tech (Computer Science/ IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognised by the Govt. of India. or B.E or B.Tech (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from a recognized University or M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University or B.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in subject from a recognized University

13. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) English - Four years integrated degree course or Bachelor’s Degree in English as a subject in all the three years.

14. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Hindi - Four years integrated degree course or Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi as a subject in all the three years.

15. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Social Studies - Four years integrated degree course or Bachelor’s Degree in Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography

16. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Science - Four years integrated degree course or Bachelor’s Degree in Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.

17. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Sanskrit - Four years integrated degree course or Bachelor’s Degree in Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.

18. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Maths - Four years integrated degree course or Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: - Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics

19. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - P&HE - Bachelor Degree in Physical Education or equivalent.

20. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) AE - 1. Five years’ recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/ Sculpture/ Graphic Art or Equivalent recognized Degree 2. Working knowledge of Hindi & English

21. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) WE - i) Three years Diploma after Higher Secondary in Electrical. Electronics Engineering from an institution recognized by State Govt./ Govt. of India. (The minimum qualification for admission to the Diploma Course should be at least Higher Secondary). or Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University. or Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University. ii). Working knowledge of Hindi and English.

22. Primary Teacher (PRT) - i). Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent. ii). Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. iii. Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium.

23. Primary Teacher (PRT) Music - i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University. ii) Competence to teach through English\Hindi medium

Age Limit: (As on 31.10.2016)

Candidate’s KVS Recruitment Age Limit Should (For Post 1 - between 35 to 50 Years), (For Post 2 - 12 - not exceed 40 Years), (For Post 13 - 21 - not exceed 35 Years), (Post 22, 23 - 30 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. 4. Primary Teacher (PRT) (Group B) - Rs. 9300 - 34800/- With 4200/- Grade Pay
