Eligibility Criteria
for OSSSC Horticulture Extension Worker, Village Agriculture Worker Jobs 2016
Educational Qualification:
1.
Horticulture Extension Worker (Contractual) - Pass in +2
Science or +2 Vocational course in Agriculture related subjects only such as
Crop Production (CP)/ Horticulture (Hort.)/ Repair and Maintenance of Power
Driven Farm Machinery (PDFM) from any recognized Board/Council/Institute
2.
Village Agricultural Worker (Contractual) - Pass in +2 Science or
+2 Vocational course in Agriculture related subject in Crop
Production/Horticultur e/ Repair and Maintenance of Power Driven farm Machinery
from any recognized Board/Council/Institution. Diploma in Agriculture
Polytechnic under Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology shall be
desirable and 05% of the marks secured in the Written Examination of the post
shall be awarded extra for such qualification.
Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2016)
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not be between 21 to 32 Years. Go through OSSSC official

Pay Scale:
1.
Horticulture Extension Worker (Contractual) - Rs.2, 000/- as Grade Pay= Total
Rs.7,200/-
2.
Village Agricultural Worker (Contractual) - Rs.5, 200/- as Pay + Rs.2, 000/- as
Grade Pay= Total Rs.7,200/-
