Eligibility Criteria
for RRCAT Technical Officer, Stipendiary Trainee Jobs 2016
Educational Qualification:
1.
Technical Officer/C (Electronics) - B.E. / B.Tech. /
B.Sc.(Engineering) / 5-year Integrated M.Tech. with a minimum of 60% aggregate
marks in Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics &
Telecommunication engineering from a recognized University/Board of Technical
Education/Institution of Central or State Government
2.
Stipendiary Trainee Category-I (Physics) - Minimum 60% marks in
B.Sc. (Physics as principal and Mathematics/Chemistry/
Statistics/Electronics/Computer Science as subsidiary subjects)
3.
Stipendiary Trainee Category-I (Electronics &
Instrumentation) - Diploma / Licentiate in Electronics/ Instrumentation
Engineering (Three years after SSC or Two years after HSC) with minimum 60%
marks
4.
Technician/B (Plumber) - HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks
with Science and Maths plus trade certificate of one year duration in Plumbing
trade
5.
Technician/B (Air Conditioning) - HSC or SSC passed with
minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths plus trade certificate of one year
duration in Air-conditioning
Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed (For Technical Officer - 37
years), (For Stipendiary Trainee- 34
years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC,
10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years
for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation
in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through RRCAT
