Eligibility Criteria for SSB SI, ASI, Head Constable Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Sub-Inspector (SI) - Degree in Electronics or Telecommunication or Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.

2. Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) - (i) Matric with Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication from an Institution recognized by the State Government or equivalent or (ii) 10+2 or Intermediate with aggregate marks of 50% with selective subjects being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or Institution or equivalent.

3. Head Constable - Matriculation or equivalent plus two year Industrial Training Institute certificate in Electronics or Intermediate or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or institution or equivalent.

Age Limit: (As on 29.01.2017)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should be between (For Sub-Inspector (SI) - 18 to 25 Years), (For Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) - 18 to 25 Years), (For Head Constable - 18 to 23 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Pay Scale:

1. Sub-Inspector (SI) - Level-6 Rs. 35,400/- per month

2. Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) - Level-5 Rs. 29,200/- per month

3. Head Constable - Level-4 Rs. 25,500/- per month
