Eligibility Criteria
for UPSC Assistant Professor, Deputy Central Intelligence Officer Jobs 2017
Educational Qualification:
1.
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Endocrinology) -
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate
qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders
of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should
also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956).
2.
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Microbiology) -
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate
qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders
of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should
also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956)
3.
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Urology) -
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications)
to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational
qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill
the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956)
4.
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases) -
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications)
to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational
qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill
the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956).
5.
Deputy Central Intelligence Officer / Technical (DCIO/Tech) -
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B. E. or B. Tech) or B. Sc. (Egg) awarded by
a recognised University in the fields of Electronics or Electronics and
Communication or Electronics and Telecommunications or Computer Science or
Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering
or Information Technology or Software Engineering or Associate Membership of
Institute of Engineers (AMIE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering or
Graduate Ship awarded by Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and
Telecommunication Engineers (AMIETE) in Electronics and Telecommunications
Engineering Or Master of Science in Physics with Electronics or Telecommunications
Or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) after three years Bachelor of Science
in Physics or Master of Science (Information Technology) or Master of Science
(Computer Science) or Master of Science (Software) from a recognised
University.
6.
Assistant Legislative Counsel (Grade-Iv of Indian Legal Service) -
Degree in Law of a recognized University or Bachelor Degree in Law from a
University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act a Provincial
Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a
University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign
university approved by the Central Government and unless he has been a member
of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than seven years or has
held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not
less than seven years or a Central Government servant who has had experience in
legal affairs for not less than seven years or possesses a Master’s Degree in
Law and has had teaching or research experience in Law for not less than five
years or is a qualified legal practitioner of not less than 30 years of age.
7.
Assistant Legislative Counsel (Bengali) - Master’s degree in Law
(LLM) from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act a
Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to
be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign
University approved by the Central Government and Master’s degree in Law (LLM)
from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act a
Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to
be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign
University approved by the Central Government and
8.
Assistant Legislative Counsel (Marathi) - Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from a
University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act a Provincial
Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a
University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign
University approved by the Central Government and
9.
Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) - Degree in Civil
Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. Section A B of the
Institution of Engineers (India).
10.
Assistant Executive Engineer (Electronics) - Degree in Telecommunications/
Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communications Engineering from a
recognized University or equivalent
11.
Junior Ship Surveyor-cum-Assistant Director General (Technical) -
Degree in Naval Architecture from a recognized University.

Radio Inspector - Degree in Telecommunication
Engineering.
13.
Professor (Technical) (Electronics & Communication Engineering) - Bachelor
of Engineer/Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineer/Master of Technology
in Electronics Communication Engineering with First Class or equivalent either
in Bachelor of Engineer/ Bachelor of Technology or Master of Engineer/Master of
Technology and PhD or equivalent in appropriate discipline
