Eligibility Criteria
for SWR Cultural Quota Jobs 2017
Educational Qualification:
1. Violin (Carnatic Style) - Passed 12'n 1+2 stage) or its equivalent examination wrth not less than 50% marks in aggregate 50% marks is not insisted upon in the case of SC/STiEx. Servicemen/Persons With Disabilities (PWD) candidates. 50% marks is also not insisted upon in the case of candidates who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification
2. Tabla (Classical) - Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/lTl approved by NCVT/SCVT with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. 50% marks is not insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/Ex. Servicemen/Persons With Disabilities (PWD) candidates. 50% marks is also not insisted upon in the case of candidates who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification.
Professional Qualification:
1. Violin (Carnatic Style) - Possession of Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Music (Violin - Carnatic Style) from Government recognized institute.
2. Tabla (Classical) - Possession of Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Music (Tabla - Classical) from Government recognized institute.
Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2017)
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should be between be between 18 to 29 Years. The Upper age limit is
relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with
Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for
Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will
