Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
(As on )
1.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) - (a) 12th class or equivalent
qualification from any recognized Board or University. (b) Skill test norms on
Computer : English Typing @ 35 words per minute; or Hindi typing @ 30 words per
minute (Time allowed - 10 minutes) (35 words per minute in English and 30 words
per minute in Hindi correspond to 10,500 key depression per hour/9000 key
depressions per hour; on an average of 5 key depressions for each ward).
Desirable: Basic knowledge in computers: Note: Typing Master software will be
used for Typing Test. Candidate who qualifies in Typing Test will only be
permitted for Written Test.
2. Multi
Tasking Staff (MTS) - Matriculation (10th class pass) from a
recognised Board.

Technician (Semi-skilled) - (i) Govt Servant/Departmental Candidates :
Relaxable upto 43 years in case of OBC and 45 years in case of SC, NOC
required.
Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should be between (For LDC Post - 18 to 27 Years) (For MTS Post 18 to
30 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for
OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13
years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates
Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through SQAE

Hard copy of duly filled and signed application along with the photocopies of (i) ID
proof (ii) Proof of Date of Birth (iii) Educational Certificates: Mark-Sheets/Degree
Certificate (iv) Caste (v) One self-addressed envelope (size approximately 25
cm x 10 cm) for separate category affixing Rs. 40/- amount of postal stamp
should be enclosed with the application form for sending call letter (admit
card).and Application will be entertained only on the prescribed format as in
Appendix ‘A’ alongwith Admit card (in duplicate). Application should be
forwarded to “The SQAO, Senior Quality Assurance Estt (GS), DGQA Complex,
PAZHAVANTHANGAL - PO, CHENNAI - 600114” so as to reach on or before closing
date. Envelope containing application must be superscripted in bold letters
