Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Assistant Employment Officer, Foreman Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Foreman (Metallurgy) - Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from any recognized University plus one year experience in the relevant field. OR Associate Member of Indian Institution of Metals plus one year experience in the relevant field from a recognized organisation. OR Associate Member of Institution of Engineers in Metallurgy Engineering plus one year experience in the relevant field from a recognised Organisation.

2. Data Processing Assistant - Masters Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or Master of Technology with specialization in Computer Applications or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in computer engineering or computer science or computer technology from a recognized University or Institution.

3. Assistant Employment Officer - Master’s Degree in Social Welfare or Labour Welfare Or Social work or Sociology or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Commerce or Education of a recognised University or equivalent. Note-Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified

Age Limit: (As on 27.04.2017)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1, 3 - 30 years), (for Post 2 - 40 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
