Eligibility Criteria
for SDSC SHAR Scientist/Engineer Jobs 2017
Educational Qualification:
1.
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Industrial Engineering) -
M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc(Engg.) or equivalent Post Graduate degree in Industrial
Engineering in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading
of 6.5 on a 10 point scale with pre-eligibility qualification of B.E/ B.Tech/
B.Sc(Engg.)/M.Sc or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering in first
class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks (Average of all semesters) or
CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale. Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in
Section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification
2.
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Chemical Engineering) - B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.)/M.Sc
or equivalent in Chemical Engineering in first class with an aggregate minimum
of 65% of marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10
point scale. Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone for candidates
with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.
3.
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Physics) - M.Sc-Physics in first
class with an aggregate minimum of 60% of marks (Average of all semesters) or
CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale. Knowledge in NDT methods is
desirable.
4.
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Industrial Engineering/ Industrial Management) -
M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc(Engg.) or equivalent Post Graduate degree in Industrial
Engineering/ Industrial Management in first class with an aggregate minimum of
60% of marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10
point scale with pre-eligibility qualification of B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.)/M.Sc
or equivalent in ECE/E&IE/EEE in first class with an aggregate minimum of
65% of marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10
point scale. Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone for candidates
with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Industrial Safety) - M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc(Engg.)
or equivalent Post Graduate degree in Industrial Safety in first class with an
aggregate minimum of 60% of marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI
grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale with preeligibility qualification of B.E/
B.Tech/ B.Sc(Engg.)/M.Sc or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical
Engineering in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (Average of all
semesters) or CGPA/CPI Grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale. Minimum 65% marks
