Eligibility Criteria
for UCIL Vacancy 2017:
Educational Qualification:
1.
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - English
(i)
Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in
aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in
accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/
Institution’s norms) in the following subject: OR Two years integrated Post
Graduate Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the following
subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by
conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of
corresponding University/ Institution’s norms).
(ii)
B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University. However, if no
candidate with B.Ed is available, then candidates without B.Ed. may be taken
provided she/ he has passed the qualifying degree with first class (60% marks
or the equivalent grade.)
2.
PGT (Computer Science)
(i) At least 50% marks in aggregate or
equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the
method of conversion of corresponding University / Institution’s norms) in any
of the following: B.E
OR
B.
Tech. (Computer Science / IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree
OR Diploma from an institution / university recognized by the Govt. of India
OR
M.Sc.
(Computer Science) / MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University
OR
‘B’
Level from ‘DOEACC’, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and
Post Graduate Degree in any subject. OR ‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’, Ministry of

Proficiency in teaching in English medium
Age Limit: (As on 01.04.2017)
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed 40 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years
for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years
for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of
India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per
