Eligibility Criteria
for Indian Air Force Vacancy 2017:
Educational Qualification:
(As on 07.01.2018)
1.
MTS - Essential:- Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board Or university. Desirable:- One year of experience as watchman OR Lascar OR Gestetner Operator OR Mali from an Organization OR Institute.
2.
Mess Staff - Essential:- Matriculation pass OR equivalent qualification from a recognized Board Or university. Desirable:- One year of experience as Waiter OR Washer-up from an Organization or Institute.
Age Limit: (As on 07.01.2018)
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should be between 18 Years to 25 Years. Upper age limit is relaxable
as under for following categories: - (i) Other Backward Classes under Central
Govt: 03 years (Age relaxation for the other categories is admissible as per

1. Log on to Indian Air Force Careers Page at official website to www.employmentnews.gov.in
2. Eligible candidates are advised to open Notification &
Application Form
3. Read the Advertisement carefully to be sure about your
eligibility
4. Application on plain paper of A4 size duly typed and filled in clearly in prescribed
format along with self attested copies of testimonials for education qualification
and experience/age as per matriculation certificate only and Caste & Domicile
certificate issued by Competent Authority etc will only be accepted. The application
should bear a recent self attested photograph. The application is liable to be rejected
if it is not in conformity with prescribed format/illegible/un-signed or without required
certificates.
4. Candidate applying against the OBC category should note that the caste
should be listed under the Central List of OBC category. A certificate duly issued by
the Competent Authority to this effect is to be submitted along with the application
form.
5. A separate application will have to be submitted for each post, in case the applicant intends to apply for more than one post
6. The name of the post applied for must be clearly superscribed as “Application for the post of MTS/ Mess Staff (indicate the category)”; one of them indicated on the top of the envelope. 7. A self-addressed envelope with Rs. 10/- stamp affixed on it is to be enclosed along with the application
