Eligibility Criteria
for NIHFW Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
Professor
1)
Good academic record with at least 50% marks in Master’s Degree in any branch
of Communication/Health and Extension Education/Social Sciences from a
recognized University/Institution.
2)
Doctoral degree / recognized published work of equivalent merit in any branch
of Communication/Health and Extension Education/Social Sciences from a
recognized University.
3)
10 years of experience in postgraduate teaching and / or experience in research
at the University / National Level Institutions, including experience of guiding
research at doctoral level OR In exceptional cases, the teachers with 15 years
of UG / PG teaching / research experience could also be considered.
4)
Evidence of published work of high quality during the last four years.
Assistant
Professor
1)
Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II
of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian
Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in
part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in
section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
2)
Postgraduate degree in Surg./Med./Obst. & Gynae./ Such as MD/MS or
equivalent degree of a recognized University.
3)
Four years experience as Reader / Associate Professor in the subject concerned
in recognized Medical College or in an equivalent grade in a recognized
teaching/ /training/research institution.
4)
Evidence of published work of high quality during the last 4 years
Reader
1)
Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II
of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian
Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in
part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in
section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
2)
Postgraduate degree such as MD (CHA) / MD (PSM) / MD (Community Medicine) or an
equivalent degree of a recognized University.
3)
Four years experience as Reader / Associate Professor in the subject concerned
in the subject concerned in a recognized Medical College or in an equivalent
grade in a recognized teaching/ training / research institution.
4)
Evidence of published work of high quality during the last four years
Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed 35 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years
for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years
for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of
India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per
