Eligibility Criteria for
ESIC Tamil Nadu Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1.
Senior Resident O & G & General Medicine - MBBS with
PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from Recognized University. If such
candidates are not available in particular specialty, then candidates having at
least two years’ experience after MBBS in reputed hospital including Junior
Resident in a Government Hospital in the concerned specialty can also be
considered
2.
Senior Resident (Radiology) - Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from
Recognized University With 3 (three) years experience after acquiring PG
Degree/ OR minimum of 5 (Five) years’ experience after Graduate Diploma
Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 -
35 Years), (For Post 2 - 66 Years). The Upper
age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for
Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC
PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper

Pay Scale Details for ESIC Tamil Nadu Senior Resident (SR):
Pay Scale:
1.
Senior Resident O & G & General Medicine - Rs 15,600/-
39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs 6600/- plus other allowances applicable under ESIC
(Staff conditions of services) Regulation, 1959 (As per 6th CPC)
2.
Senior Resident (Radiology) - Rs. 40000/- Per
Month for 2 sessions per day x 5 days in a week. Duration of each session is of
two hours. Rs. 1000/- for extra session of two hours
Selection Procedure for ESIC Tamil Nadu Senior Resident (SR):
Candidates will be
selected based on Interview
The selected candidate (
For Senior Resident one year) will have to furnish a DD/Bankers Cheque for an
amount of
R.30,000/-(Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) drawn in favour of ‘ESIC A/c No 1’
payable at Tirunelveli, towards security deposit. However, this amount will be appropriated
towards administrative cost in case, the candidate resigns/terminates his/her
contract within Nine months of the commencement of the contract with or without
prior notice and without one month’s notice thereafter.
