Eligibility Criteria
for WII Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1. Senior Project Fellows - Masters’
Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/Life Science/
Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences/ Biological Sciences/ Veterinary Science/
Geography/ Geo-informatics/ Social Sciences, Statistics, Commerce, and Arts
from a recognized university with at least one year field research experience +
Experience in (a) sign surveys, (b) camera trapping, (c) spatial analysis using
Remote Sensing and GIS tools; (d) vegetation quantification; (e) data
management and statistical analyses
2. Junior Project Fellows - Masters’
Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/Life Science/
Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences/ Biological Sciences/ Veterinary Science/
Geography/ Geo-informatics/ Social Sciences, Statistics, Commerce, and Arts
from a recognized university + Interest/specialization and fieldwork skills in
a) vegetation / b)invertebrates / c) fishes / d) birds / e) herpetofauna /
f)mammals Or experience in spatial analysis using Remote Sensing & GIS
tools
Age Limit:
Age
limit is 28 years for the Junior Project Fellow positions and 30 years for the
Senior Project Fellow positions, but may be relaxed up to 5 years as per
Government of India rules
Pay Scale Details for WII Senior Project Fellows, Junior
Project Fellows:
Pay Scale:
1.
Senior Project Fellows - Rs. 32,000 + HRA and other admissible allowances
2.
Junior Project Fellows - Rs. 25,000 + HRA and
other admissible allowances
