Eligibility Criteria
for South Central Railway Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1.
Group 'C' - 10th or SSC or its equivalent with ITI Passed or
equivalent. OR 12th pass or its equivalent with 55% marks.
2.
Erstwhile Group 'D' - 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship
Certificate OR 10th pass plus ITI (For Civil Engineering, Mechanical,
Electrical and S&T departments)
Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should be between (For Group C - 18 to 30 Years), (For Erstwhile
Group 'D - 18 to 33 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for
SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for
SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India
rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt.

The examination fee for
Unreserved and OBC candidates is Rs.500/- (Five hundred only) and For
candidates belonging to SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with disabilities (PWDs),
women, minorities and economically backward classes is Rs 250/- (Two hundred
and fifty only).The examination fee should be paid in the form of Indian Postal
Order (IPO) from any Post Office/Demand Draft from any Nationalized bank, drawn
in favour of and payable at Hyderabad/Secunderabad as follows.
